2) The second thing you can do to protect your car's exterior finish is to dry your car after washing. When you do not dry your car, mineral deposits in water droplets can have a negative effect on your car's paint. Furthermore, make sure to use cotton detailing cloths to dry your car. Other cloths and drying tools, such as polyester and microfiber, can scratch your paint surface. 

3) The third and probably the most important thing you can do to protect your car's paint is to wax your car. Using car wax with carnauba can give your car a healthy shine and protection.
